Tasting notes on the wine:

"This is a merlot and cabernet sauvignon blend, but trust me that nothing about this wine is rich or heavy; it’s light on the feet without any weighty business. This wine even has some age on it (2017), which I adore, as all the flavors in the bottle feel like they got to know each other and are ready to play. A classic Italian red with medium body and acid, this evokes Italian plums, wet newspaper printed in ink made out of black licorice, and damp fall leaves. It’s not showy, but sometimes that’s what you need for a wide spectrum of holiday guests. It will be delicious with a hearty ragu covered in pecorino cheese with a side of crusty baguette." — Seung Hee Lee
