Tasting notes on the wine:

"Sourced from vines in St. Aldegunder Klosterkammer, Weihwasser translates to ‘holy water’ — appropriate enough, as a glass of this will be sure to exorcise the most horrible days. ‘Feinherb’ means that the wine is technically off-dry, but the sheer amount of acidity easily balances out that extra residual sugar and gives you a harmonious wine in the glass. Notes of tropical fruit such as guava, pineapple, and lanzones are at the forefront. Pair it with anything from a light crudo all the way to Hawaiian-style pizza." — Jhonel Faelnar

About the winemaker:

"The Mosel Valley region is known for its steep slate slopes and one of the greatest white grapes out there: riesling. It’s a place I am longing to visit, to explore the myriad producers growing the same variety but carefully crafting into their own individual renditions year after year that we get to enjoy. Ulli Stein, an old-school producer in the region, makes some of the most compelling versions of riesling you can hope to come across." — Jhonel Faelnar
