Tasting notes on the wine: 

It’s a delightful blend of blaufränkisch and merlot. The purple hue and bright berry flavors, coupled with medium acidity and fresh tannins, make it a stellar accompaniment to your holiday. Notes of mulberry, cherry, blood orange, and chocolate. Pair this wine with glazed chicken with wild rice pilaf or caramelized onion and butternut squash. 

About the winemaker: 

Georg Schmelzer, a fourth-generation winemaker from Austria's Gols region, passionately embraces biodynamic practices following ancient Demeter guidelines, inclyding promoting soil health and vine vitality through herb infusions like horsetail. Hand-harvested and minimally intervened, his wines authentically reflect the land, making it a perfect sustainable choice.
