Tasting notes on the wine:
"Pour this puppy in a glass and you’ll swear you’re drinking Champagne. The bubbles are delicate, and the flavor is astoundingly complex! Pine needles, oyster shells, green apples, and orange blossoms with lemon/lime acidity. Don’t be scared of this wine because you’ve never heard of Catarratto. This spumante truly over-delivers and I wish I had another bottle at home." — Marie Cheslik
About the winemaker:
"Giacomo and Flavia, two young wine producers and the fourth generation of the historic Rallo family are interpreting the values of Giacomo’s great grandfather. These wines come from the historic vineyards owned by the Rallo family since 1860. They are located between Contrada Birgi and Paolini, a stone’s throw from the Riserva dello Stagnone and the historic Marsala salt pans." — Minum Selections
