"This blend of merlot and syrah is deliciously ripe, with notes of jammy plum, unctuous mulberries, and dark cacao. Cutting through the dense, bold concentration of flavor is a lovely, refreshing minerality. Tannins are chunky but integrated. All in, this is a heart-warmingly honest wine, perfect with steak frites." — Isabelle Legeron

About the winemaker: 

"Domaine Blanc Plume’s old vines live in the heart of the Corbières Fenouillèdes Natural Regional Park, home to 47 protected bird species including the red kite and Milan Royal, an eagle sporting white feathers in its wings; hence the name of the estate.
