Tasting notes on the wine:
"What we have here is 100 percent cortese di Gavi, a grape native to the region that has been hand-harvested in small crates and utilizes indigenous yeast. The result packs a punch of white flowers, peaches, and stone fruits on the nose with a delicate and juicy freshness on the palate." — Tamy Rofe
About the winemaker:
"Located in the heart of Piedmont, Italy, the Spinola family has been making wine from these vines since the year 1367. In 2006, winemakers Henry and Massimiliana began developing biodynamic methods of viticulture that guarantees the maximum respect for nature and the environment. On top of that, Henry is an advocate for horse-plowing which means there’s no machinery used on the vineyard, helping keep the land intact." — Tamy Rofe.
