Tasting notes on the wine:

"This wine is a fantastic example of how bright and lively tempranillo can be, with big, juicy red fruit that is not at all jammy or cloying, and huge acidity that needs to be tamed with some fat or meat, or both."  — Gwen Gunheim

About the winemaker:

"The vineyards at Arrieta estate have been in the family for three generations but it wasn’t until 1982 that a bodega was built and they started making wine; mostly selling to bigger houses like Marques de Riscal. Today, winemakers Itxaso Compañon and Gorka Mauleón are at the helm." — Gwen Gunheim
