Tasting notes on the wine:
"A blend of gruner and roter from Niederösterreich that comes from 50-to-64-year-old vines, with two months of maceration — when seeds and skins of grapes are left in contact with the juice — giving it enough texture and tannin to play with some richer dishes. This smells like honeysuckle, white pepper, and grapefruit juice, which makes me want to pair it with breakfast foods. Spring asparagus with a poached egg and some hollandaise would be my preference, but as a ‘geriatric millennial’ I’d also drink this while draining my bank account on avocado toast." — Sarah Horvitz
About the winemaker:
"Power couple Josef and Eva Maria Bauer farm organically and biodynamically, and utilize the existing flora around the vineyards to increase biodiversity and keep the soil and grapes extra happy." — Sarah Horvitz
