Tasting notes on the wine:
"Andi describes this wine as ‘free-spirited.’, and if that doesn’t totally capture co-fermenting grapes I don’t know what does. Müller-Thurgau, silvaner, scheurebe, and bacchus were all hand-picked together then directly pressed with an ancient basket press into giant old wood barrels to ferment with native yeast. This succulent blend really enjoys the balance of all the different characters. There’s a touch of smoke, tropical fruit, citrus, and roundness; there’s a lot to love.” — Gwen Gunheim
About the winemaker:
"Andi Weigand took over for his dad in 2015, and like a lot of fresh generation winemakers Andi’s first order of business was to convert everything to organic." — Gwen Gunheim
