"Bobal loves to take in the cool Mediterranean Sea air and retain a lovely lift and spring in its step amid the powerful flavors of black cherry, blueberry, and crunchy black plum. This is a wonderful wine for those looking for weight and richness without a cloying quality of saccharine fruit and oak. It’s balanced but deeply colored at the same time and can pair with any food that kisses the fire: veggies, poultry, fish, or meats.” — June Rodil

About the winemaker: 

"One of the torchbearers of Bobal is Vera de Estenas, possibly the most traditional producer in Utiel-Requena, with some of the oldest Bobal holdings in Spain.
