Tasting notes on the wine:
"This wine is full of intrigue and suspense! It’s surprisingly fruit-forward with notes of strawberry yogurt and blackberries, almost like a Beaujolais. Don’t be fooled, though — this wine also has a serious earthy undertone of potting soil and wet leaves, almost like some great Burgundies. Pinot noir lovers can rejoice!" — Marie Cheslik
About the winemaker:
"All of the wines coming from Saint Verny in the tiny region of Puy-de-Dôme are sustainably and organically farmed, and what makes this chardonnay shine is that distinct volcanic soil. " — Marie Cheslik
