Tasting notes on the wine:
"Easygoing, ripe, and supple, with a classic black pepper finish. Not to mention it’s got an adorable label, which simultaneously draws the eye and tells you to drink up and not to take it too seriously. Enjoy this over an outdoor fire while grilling anything and everything over the flames." — Jhonel Faelnar
About the winemaker:
"Visiting the town of Tain-l'Hermitage in 2019, one of my last international trips before the world shut down, really cemented this region into memory, especially biking up the arduous path to Le Meal, a vineyard on top of the steep slopes of l'Hermitage. Matthieu Barret is one of the great minimal-intervention producers of the region, based in Cornas in the northern Rhone." — Jhonel Faelnar
