Tasting notes on the wine:
"Les Grandes Vignes, a filtered, lightly sulfited blend of grenache blanc, clairette, and bourboulenc, is a sunny southern white with minimal fat on its bones. Its lime-tinted marshmallow tones show best with a brisk chill.” — Aaron Ayscough
About the winemaker:
"Les Vignerons d’Estezargues is a Southern Rhone cooperative cellar that made history in the 1990s under former cellarmaster Jean-François Nicq, who convinced its members to embrace organic farming and permit him to produce natural wine from their harvests. Nicq has since moved on to a storied career as a vigneron in the Roussillon, but Les Vignerons d’Estezargues, now piloted by CEO and winemaker Armelle Rouault, remains squarely in the pragmatic camp of natural wine producers." — Aaron Ayscough
