Tasting notes on the wine: 

"This wine is grenache, syrah, and carignan. The nose has smoky notes of cassis, blackberries, dried orange peel, and sweet spice. The palate is a plush and delectable expression of red and black fruits backed by brambly tannins and the wine finishes with a supple dash of orange zest and black pepper.”  — Gwen Gunheim

About the winemaker: 

"Well, well, well, we’ve got another co-op on our hands. Les Vignerons d’Estézargues was established in the 1960s, and by the 1980s these kids started going all natural. These days we have two babes at the helm (not to brag, but as a two-woman crew at Miracle Plum we know just how cool this is): Armelle Rouault and Anna Tyack." — Gwen Gunheim
