"This malbec comes from old vines that help showcase the intensely dark-purple pigment, the cassis-like flavors, and if I had to say that something tasted ultraviolet, this would be it. This would be ideal with steak for those who eat meat, or something else grilled.” — June Rodil

"Winemaker Fabien Jouves was born and raised in the region among a family of grape growers. He knows it’s easy to make a malbec inexpensively that tastes pretty good — in fact, he makes those too.
