Tasting notes on the wine:

"This blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot is fresh and vibrant, showing crunchy blackberries, red currants, wild thyme, and rosemary. It’s not de-stemmed before being processed which is what gives it juicy, fruit-forward notes. This is an easy-drinking crowd-pleaser." — Isabelle Legeron

About the winemaker:

"Located 6 miles north of Carcassonne, where the influence of the Atlantic meets air rolling in from the warm Mediterranean, the 29-acre Domaine du Temps, a former 18th-century priory, is a model of biodiversity. They’re so secluded (the vineyard is surrounded by 172 acres of wilderness, made up of forests and southern French shrubland) that their donkeys, chickens, horses, and goats all roam free. This also means their grapes are safe from contamination by neighboring farms, a constant worry for organic farmers in densely populated areas." — Isabelle Legeron
