Tasting notes on the wine:

"On the nose, this is cinnamon and blueberries, like blueberry pie minutes away from coming out of the oven. On the palate, it’s silky-smooth, with notes of fresh cracked pepper, black cherries, and a touch of smoke. Decant this medium-bodied beauty and watch the wine unfold! Pair with wood-fired pizza and sausage. All. Day. Long.” — Chloe & Kaitlyn

About the winemaker:

"Friends Dominik Gober and Gerald Freinbichler met in the cellar of Franz Weninger. Friends from the start, the pair were encouraged by their mentor to buy an old 1,000-square-foot garage winery, alongside a few hectares of blaufränkisch. This wine is a part of the Vineyard Project series, conceived by Stephen Bitterolf, the man behind Vom Boden wines — an importer and distributor with its heart clearly in Germany. Beginning in 2019, the Vineyard Project was a way to connect the greater community at large, by connecting overlooked vineyards with vignerons." — Chloe & Kaitlyn
