“I would enjoy these beautiful pink delicate bubbles while taking in the sights at the Krewe of Muses parade. They are an all-female krewe whose throw is a highly coveted hand-decorated high-heel shoe. The wine is fresh, lively, and savory on the palate and would be the perfect accompaniment to a shrimp po’ boy on French bread.” —Kenda Waugh

About the winemaker:

“This vineyard is a gem located in Lower Styria (Štajerska) that is family-owned and operated. Their unique wine features a field blend of all the indigenous varieties of chasselas, traminer, riesling, javor, welschriesling, sipon, kraljevina, ranfol, miška, and more. The maceration process lasts for three weeks on their skins followed by four months of fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This creates the perfect conditions for the wine, aptly named Skinzy'.” — Kenda Waugh
