Tasting notes on the wine:

"A deeply colored, fairly tannic wine that saw nine months of skin contact in tinajas (Spanish clay jars). The result shows flavors of lime zest, aniseed, orange blossom, and green tea leaf; it’s a testament to how well skin contact suits albarino. It adds texture and depth to a grape that is naturally fresh." — Isabelle Legeron

About the winemaker: 

"Constantina Sotelo is a meticulous, exacting, and creative farmer. She cares for six acres of albarino vines grown in the local pergola style, which she took over from her family in 1985. And Constantina clearly has lots of fun in the cellar, making many different wines, skin-contact included, using several techniques." — Isabelle Legeron
