Tasting notes on the wine:

"This is made of indigenous grapes macabeo and airen. Brilliant, pale-straw color with aromas of apple and citrus fruits on the nose. Refreshing, lively, and fruity with a clean lip-smackingly citrusy finish. Ideally suited to vegetable rice, white fish, white meat, or lovely by itself.” — Gwen Gunheim

About the winemaker:

"We are doubling up on collaboration with this one, as Bodegas Pinoso is a Spanish cooperative winery that was established in 1932. They’ve had to expand several times over the years, growing to over 600 members. You know how sometimes as things grow the quality drops? Not here. As part of that expansion they established a new commitment to the land and became pioneers of the organic wine growing movement." — Gwen Gunheim
