Over the last seven or so years you could have found Sarina Garibović working as a sommelier and beverage director at some of the best restaurants across Minneapolis. Today, in addition to working for local wine distributor Libation Project, you can find Sarina leading wine education from one of the two organizations she has co-founded: Twin Cities Somms and Zenska Glava. Both programs are focused on facilitating meaningful beverage education that is inclusive, which can mean classes on the grapes and regions of her native Croatia or entirely about viticulture at Zenska, and personalized mentorship programs at Twin Cities Somms. When Sarina’s not working she is snacking, yelling at her three cats to get down from the counter, and binging the newest Bravo show.
